Fannin Sheep
$70,000
Midnight Sun Outfitting Ltd. is among the very few that offer both Dall sheep and Fannin sheep hunts. We have incredibly high populations of sheep that are accredited to this area's remoteness, breadth, and diversity. Sheep hunts are customized to each hunter and can be done via horseback, backpack, riverboat, or any combination of these. We are happy to provide further information on hunting styles, including anecdotes and photos! We operate in the Wereneke and Ogilvie Mountains, rising from the spruce forests and tundra country of the Peel River Watershed.
Moose
$50,000
This hunting area offers some of the largest Alaskan-Yukon moose in the world. Midnight Sun is very proud to provide the finest moose hunting and trophies that are available, with our moose's spreads reaching up to 75 inches. These animals are incredible to see in the wild, gigantic, and reminiscent of the trophies of previous centuries. We have won numerous annual awards for harvesting the largest moose in the Yukon. Our average spread always well surpasses 60 inches! Moose hunts are by horseback or riverboat, and dates begin on August 21st and end October 4th. Harvesting a bull with or without velvet is always an impressionable experience on the first-time moose hunter and the well-traveled alike.
Caribou
$28,000
Our hunting area also offers an abundant population of caribou—we are lucky enough to offer both Mountain and Barren Ground caribou species. The world-famous Porcupine Herd travels through a part of our hunting concession in the late Fall on its ancient migration across Northern Canada. This area thrives with smaller, native caribou herds as well, and we credit this to the abundant tundra vegetation—a gorgeous pallet of lichens and grasses that exemplify High North ecology.
Grizzly
$30,000
Grizzly bears roam throughout the hunting season. Midnight Sun Outfitting has an abundant number of Grizzlies, and it is not uncommon to see several bears in a day. These bears are considered "Inland Grizzlies.” Their colorations vary from dark brown/black to blonde, each individual is unique.
Wolf / Wolverine
$3,000
paid after harvest
Fall wolf and wolverine hunts are available, though they are an add-on species rather than a primary species for pursuit. These northern predators are equally scattered all over our hunting concession. We also own a trapline in our concession and offer exclusive trapping excursions in the winter months via snowmobile and a dog sled team.
Yukon Slam
$150,000
The Yukon Slam includes a sheep, moose, caribou, and a grizzly. It is a continuous 21-day hunt, with one-on-one guidance to experience all the Yukon has to offer. It’s a life-changing immersion and the purest form of adventure.
Spring Bear
$30,000
Spring bear hunting in the far north is a special time to be in the Yukon. As the snow starts to melt and ice break-up begins, we begin our Spring Grizzly hunts. These are a very relaxed hunting setting that anyone can enjoy. Tour the north on Supercub and watch the river bottoms as the bears come out of hibernation.
10-12 day hunt
